A simple gimick that people can use
The way it works:
have two pieces of geometry, one on top of the other.
The top one has no tags
The bottom one has a deadly or mostlydeadly tag

reminds me of my egging up level, but nonetheless a concept I'd like to see put into action.
considering fall damage isn't a think in world of goo, you could make a fragile goo that die on impact.
