(Spoilers Ahead: don't read if you haven't finished Chapter 3) I just finished Chapter 3 and remembered hearing (from IGN's review) that new levels are on the way. Are these new levels going to be part of a downloadable content package for purchase or are they going to be free to download? Also, about My Virtual World of Goo corporation: "...It's one of those sleek new viral marketing campaigns. The executives say this is what all the kids are into lately. They say one day you'll be able to create your own avatar, like a digital version of yourself, and purchase via micro-transaction digital hats and shoes and sweaters. And then you can talk to other peoples' digital avatars about things, like your great new digital outfit and other great new World of Goo Corporation online products. Welcome, to virtual reality! The best kind of reality." - the online Sign Painter It sounds too good to be true, so could somebody please explain the full meaning of this cryptic message and whether or not its features will cost anything? Thanks, nintendude794 (search for me on YouTube) |
i always assumed that message was akin to what bigger game companies do where you can buy addons for the game that server no real purpose. |

I heard that there might actually be some downloadable content coming. The only WiiWare games with downloadable content, that I can think of at least, are MegaMan 9 and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King; MLAK cost $15 and it had DLC, so it makes sense that World of Goo, costing $15, should have DLC in the near future. Does anybody else have something to respond with? |
I would hope that when enough user-created levels have been created, they will be vetted and made available to Wii users somehow. |

Are you telling me that there's a level editor included in the PC version? If so, that's probably the case; but I need to know if it's going to cost anything... |
