I made it - 50m tower

I started from here - 41m with 15+4 free Goo Balls



with few attempts - I got this which unfortunately bent to the right side - I was hoping for a straight one

If you'd announced two months ago that you were going to build a 50 meter tower, I'd have called you crazy. But you did it; congratulations on an amazing tower!

thats funny, i thought 40 was the limit  :P oh well, one day you will find out whats really up there 2dboy, we will find your hidden porno stash one day :P

having tested different designs to build the highest possible tower, I guess this one has served me the best so far
the long triangles design consumed many Goo Balls but supported extended heights
while the legged design also consume many Goo Balls but supported increased stability

This design has both height and stability advantages
it has no gaps in it which increases stability
the stretched sides provides even more stability and makes it rigid (it would fall in one piece) - it is the main trick in this design
it has no legs, a single cone that saves many free Goo Balls for extended heights
with constant baby sitting at 35m+, u can always remove some of the long stretches at the sides and reuse the free Goo Balls for extra levels
Thanks to Tabby - his idea in one of his tower has helped me to optimize the final rush to the top

If it was done in the game, you must have done quite a few manual resets on World of Goo.

Look at those perfect lines... damn

I can share with you my trick to get perfect lines

lets say u want to build a tower of 3 levels like this

it would do but they wont look perfect

Yup, I do not seem to be able to make it back to 50 again!
which pisses me off

I made it last time from my second try so I thought it is easy
while I was actually extremely lucky >:(

so I was trying to get it in a better shape or even higher, but failed

I guess I will have to try my luck again from time to time to get it back then I will not touch it again ::)

Wohoo, I got my 50m Tower back again after losing it by mistake and it is in a perfect shape now (almost straight)
it took me few days of attempts.

I finish the game anda came back at the first levels for make OCD and get more goo's but every time I get more and more goo's and come back to the park for trying to make my tower get upper I don't get the goo's what happens, if someone knows please let me know because I dont know what else to do.

You can't get over 300 goos in the World of Goo corporation.
