In real life I can barely move my head and imperceptibly move my thumbs but in the world of goo I am a building god! ;D I'm writing to say Hello to everyone on the board and to say thank you to everyone at 2-D boy for giving me such a fun way to be actually physically active... that's crazy for me.  Going from a guy who can't scratch his own nose or type (this is all voice activation and my mouse is a device that follows my head movements as I click special buttons placed under my hands) to someone who is getting OCD on many levels has given me quite a lot of happiness and, unusually for me, pride in my physical prowess.  Here is me on the today show not too long ago, the video explains more of my situation than typed words would be able to do:

I have some questions that I hope people will be able to answer: is 15 moves on "roadblocks" really good?  I bought my copy through wild tangent and can't find the save game file so I can upload to that fan leaderboard, anybody have an idea where it might be stashed?

14 might be possible using my method, I don't even bother making a tower in the center, but my head fell over at the last moment which messed everything up :P.  The levels which require superfast building are the ones that give me the most trouble; whipping my head back and forth makes for dizziness and as I stated before sometimes my giant melon head  flops over... but it's all worth it! :D

I really look forward to chatting with people about this game and whatever.  Have a great weekend and thank you again.

The Goo brings joy to everyone! Great to hear that despite your condition, you were able to play this game.

Hmm, it's better than me, but these guys had Road Blocks pegged at three moves. No idea how that is done, though...

Amazing...

I must admit I did chuckle a bit. Not in a nasty way, but the image of you doing some of the levels which require a fast mouse (fisty's bog springs to mind)... It must be like a whole new high! I hate getting dizzy, can't even go on a round-about with my kid, I feel sick after 2 turns.

As for finding the file, a search from the desktop for pers2.dat (look in hidden and system folders) would reveal it, but a good place to start is here:

Soultaker's site wrote:
Where is the profiles data file stored?

    * On Microsoft Windows XP:
      %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\2DBoy\WorldOfGoo
    * On Microsoft Windows Vista:
      %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\2DBoy\WorldOfGoo
    * On Linux (native):
      $HOME/.WorldOfGoo
    * On Linux using Wine:
      $HOME/.wine/drive_c/windows/profiles/$USER/Local Settings/Application Data/2DBoy/WorldOfGoo
    * On Mac OS X:
      /Users/<your username>/Library/Application Support/WorldOfGoo/pers2.dat

N.B. the data folder was changed in the latest patch; the locations above are the new locations!

IIRC it used to be stored in C:\ProgramData\2DBoy\WorldOfGoo on vista and somewhere similar on XP. Use search if you can't find it.
