we've made a lot of code changes in the game and could use some help testing it on different hardware configurations.  we need about 20 volunteers, so if you're interested, go to our contact page (http://2dboy.com/contact.php) and send us an email.  we need the following info:

1. your name and email
2. operating system (xp and vista only at this time)
3. graphics card
4. CPU type/speed
5. amount of memory in your system
6. the magic key you got when you pre-ordered the game (we're limiting this beta round to people who have pre-ordered).

the beta will start in about a week and will contain a few levels from chapter 1 and one new level from chapter 2.

cool, I've replied. So... is a Linux version still on the cards? or will you not be releasing a linux version before the final release?

Aaaargh! Damn England and it being almost the other side of the world! All I can hope for is that the rush for the beta wasn't too fast...

yeah, we're still planning to release on linux, but it will likely be sometime after the main release.

Just got back from a week long vacation visiting the grand canyon (boring), arches national park (boring), and the ancient pueblo (aka anasazi) cliff dwellings, which were amazingly interesting. 
Anyways, yay!  Sending my details now.

I noticed people talking about "drool" and "fly away little ones" but in this topic it says only one Ch. 2 level. Did you add a level to Ch.1? Are all 5 of them new?

P.S. I saw this at 1:00 in the morning while there was only one reply but my dad had deleted the magic code email :'( He got it because his email was linked to the paypal.

They added a second level for ch 2.

Although I don't think people should be talking about the beta... Don't want to give away too many spoilers ;)

It seems like they selected long time members instead of people in the first twenty cause one or two people who registered after me got in.  :-\
