World of Goo's Steam version is living in the past - with patch 1.2. Just because it's steamy doesn't mean it should miss out on patches. It's on the Steam Forums naughty list of unpatched games as well. This is making a lot of people very sad :'(

Why? It even says under WoG what thread to go to read about the patch. Admitedly it would make more sense if they linked directly to the relevent place here, but that's Steam Forum users for you... :D

WTF? It seems strange for an indie company like 2D Boy to simply ignore a large swath of their userbase like this. Yes, you can install the retail patch, but one of Steam's main selling points is automatic updates.

I'm using steam and could have sworn I had to patch, I'll check later today.
