I don't know about you, but I've had almost as much fun with this little unfinished game draft as I have with World of Goo itself! Mind you, I'm a biology major, so that may have something to do with it... But in any case, I just wanted to open up a little discussion about it. Let's have three topics to start with.

1. Your favorite results
See attachments for my Mickey Mouse eared population, and a small bit of the spectrum of colors I've been able to get into a shot simultaneously. Other favorite populations of mine include one with floating heads, one with no color at all, and one that got to be so tall that they nearly didn't fit on the screen!

2. Inheritable traits (this is where I'm trying to make a complete list.)
head shape (multiple choice)
body shape (multiple choice)
Color
limb arrangement (number and placement)
limb length (for arms and legs, respectively)
head position relative to body
eye positions relative to head
eye shape (one for each)
eye size (one for each)
pupil size (one for each)
speed of twitching when under the cursor

Let me know if you've noticed one that I missed!

3. Potential of the game- If you were to take this concept and turn it into a full game, or at least more of one, what would you do?
I always wanted to see a goal system that could get progressively harder by adding multiple traits to work on at once.

I know you all probably frown on double-posting, but for some unfathomablereason I haven't gotten any replies yet! (Patience has never been one of my virtues.)
And in the meantime, I made this collection here.

Wow. I downloaded this a few weeks ago. Nice screens.

Thanks! What are your opinions on any of the three discussion topics?

My favorite combination would probably have to be yellow, 4 long arms, 2 short legs, huge round eyes, small pupils, and floating heads. I challenge you to get a population of those. ;D
Kyle himself said that it might 'evolve' into something in the future.

Any particular preference on eye position?
Here's something I was working on just now, before reading your post. It's got the long limbs, at least.

Eyes as high as possible, and a really lumpy head.

Man, that's a lot of requests! Here's a far as I got, I couldn't get to the floating heads before they started to deviate. I'm not sure if it's possible to crush any genome out of the population except for head and body shapes. It seems like those are multiple choice, while all the others seem to be on a sliding scale.
