I'm new at forum stuff so I read and read... I read a few pages and didn't find a reference to second hand smoke in chapter three... tried using suggestion for smoking hand ... that must be a different level.
Are there hints for each chapter anywhere? ???
Did I miss a more appropriate place to ask such questions?

I just wanted to say, that when people here say "smoking hand", they mean "second hand smoke". (The level, that is.)

Goofans.com has detailed info on all levels including videos, although those usually spoil the entire solution.

For Second Hand Smoke, the key observation is that the match-head-goos burn, but the albino goo structure (and the black processed goo below) doesn't! So instead of building towards the pipe directly, you should try to find a way to get the white structure down to the hand...
