System requirements?

Gotta agree with Nic, but I think the system req's arent going to be massively high. Anything with a halfway useable processor, some ram and a VPU of some form will likely be able to play.

PS: that does not mean sticking some ram, a processor and a graphics card into a ball of silly putty will let you play WoG. Just warning you now.

Maybe not silly putty, but if you put them into a bit of plyboard and write 'Mother' on it, well then you might be in luck!

I really need to know now, though; this is like the major barrier for me to preorder it. Will my computer with a crappy integrated card run it? Or will my old computer with a Geforce 2 MX/MX 400?

We tried to keep the min specs as low as possible. Here are the min specs for Windows:

• 1.0 GHz or faster CPU
• 3D Graphics Card
• DirectX 9
• 512MB RAM (1GB Recommended)
• 100MB hard drive space

Hello,

just out of couriosity I tried it on my eee pc 701 (630 MHz, 1 GB RAM) and it worked. The screen does not show all, so it's hard to play, but it works withour delays. So maybe the minimum requirements are even lower than 1GHz.  ;)

You may want to change the resolution of the game by editing this file :

(I have the steam version)
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\world of goo\properties\config.txt
