does anyone know what to do with the secret zone in chapter 2 Beauty and the electric tentacle? i got there but don't know what to do! help!

It it a easter egg! There is nothing you can do with, it is there just for fun. In steam versions of the game you will get a achievement when you discover it

Simple: to get there, navigate the Beauty ball backwards (try saying that three times fast) off the edge of the "electric tentacle". Once you're there, look at the picture, bask in its presence, read the sign, look at the secret airflow, and click the "retry" button. If you're using Steam, brag to all your friends about your newly-earned achievement.
