Music in WOG.-World of Goo Corp-12/19/2009 - 11:42

I love world of goo.
But the part i loved so much about it is the amazing music.
i loved it so much i went out to get a 49e M-Audio Key-station, just like Kyle.
The problem is, MIDI sucks, a lot.
I know that i need to use this sound-font thingy, but i have no idea how to use it.
could somebody tell me how to be able to use sound fonts?
and if possible, could somebody provide the sound font with the cool mechanical themed drums found in
"burning man" and at the end of "are you coming home, love MOM"?
and also the violin found in "cog in the machine" and "happy new year(TM) by product z"?

I know this is not really world of goo related, but I looked in every corner of the internet
and this forum was the last place i could think of.
i e-mailed 2d boy, but they wont reply.
could someone plese help me?  ???

I've never managed to get any sort of SoundFont things working, but you could try this. Take a good MOD sequencer, get some good samples, and then assign samples to each channel in your song. This way it's more flexible because you can use samples that are not of a set. (You probably could use a combination of SoundFonts too, but it probably will add to the size.)

I have a SoundFont off of my SoundBlaster disc, but I've never figured out how to load it (or if it's even really necessary to do so).
