Interesting idea, but a bit limited. At least it's not a forum. There's some problem with the built-in youtube player, because I can't close it. The button is out of the top of my browser frame. Also, what's wrong with the hand cursor? For me personally I know where to click if I see it, but I'm not so sure on the site because there is no hand cursor.

Cool.

Re: WOGFan the Site - Now Open!DEFE03/06/2010 - 16:41

That's really cool! The intro video is very well done and the whole layout has a very smooth feel to it. And I'm listed on there! I'm so proud.

I also set two records, but I'm not listed. :P

Impale Sticky 50 and 8 moves. But hey, there's no hurry. They didn't last long anyway. ;)

Oh, yes. But "Set Records" only applies on current records. ;)

Re: WOGFan the Site - Now Open!thB03/07/2010 - 08:21

That's what I thougt at first, too. But then how's it possible that you hold 22 "Least Time" records and DaftasBrush holds 58? That's 80 records total. A little much for 47 levels, right? :D
So I figured that not only current records were included.

Just beat me!  :P

Yeah we're counting Least Time for Goal and OCD separately because they often employ vastly different strategies or methods. But we don't count Least Time OCD for levels that are Time OCD anyway (Beauty School, Hello World etc)...
I think there's 83 (or thereabouts) "Least Time" records in total.

Re: WOGFan the Site - Now Open!thB03/07/2010 - 08:53

Ah, I see. Then just forget what I said.
Beating you? No, min time is not for me. :)

I tried to click on the frame, but nothing happens.

Using Firefox. The only things that show me the hand are the YouTube channel button and those in-place video buttons.

I've seen some reports of bugs / issues in 2.x regarding CSS Z-Index... which might explain the sign thing.

The X button isn't even "Active" anyway... it's just part of the background graphic... I only put it there because without it, people wouldn't know where to click to close it... but the close action should be fired by the entire div.

On the "hand"...
I don't see it on the Players, Charts or Links buttons, I'll sort that, thanks for leading me to it  :)
but it's there on everything else that does anything.  ???

Re: WOGFan the Site - Now Open!GMMan03/07/2010 - 13:51

It looks like everything's working for me now. Maybe the page didn't load completely?

Suggestion: Instead of static hover images, the text should be animated. I know that Google has a JS library called script.aculo.us.
Also: Instead of having the loading text be off to the side, how about if it was like in WoG? Nothing would be displayed until the site finished loading, while there would be text scrolling upwards with the loading text.
More: Get a favicon.

BTW, who's operating the WoGFan Team account, out of curiosity?

Re: WOGFan the Site - Now Open!DEFE03/07/2010 - 14:23

I'm having some trouble with videos on the site. I can open them up and they play just fine. However, whenever I try to pause, skip to another part, or do anything else involving clicking, the video closes. I'm running on Safari 4.04

Just DL'd Safari.. v4.0.4 (531.21.10).. and it seems fine!  ;D ???
Maybe try reloading...?? That seemed to work for GMMan  ::)

Then it must be since I'm a mac. I just tried it on the Chrome beta and the same thing happened.
