I have already beaten the game and am going back for the OCD's but on the level MOM's Computer as far as I am aware I can't even complete the level a 2nd time.  When I reach the shortcut all it does is say something like "MOM isn't here"

So am I correct in beleiving that you have one and only one shot at getting the OCD for this level because I can't complete it again no matter how many moves I use

Try getting to MOM again, then choosing the second option until she asks if you want to delete your cookies.
Delete them and restart the level
You may now finish the level again with fewer moves.

I am getting up high enough but when I click on the shortcut to mom it reads

  MOM has gone away

                                  | OK |

The first time I went to MOM, I got that same message. So I clicked again, and it worked.

Actually, the first time, you got the message that you had to come closer. That message is different.

Yes, this bugs me too - I really don't want to start all over again just to get this red flag. But I'm inclined to think that there is some trickery afoot here. If you take the hint of our good friend the Sign Painter (read carefully), you'll find that there's more to MOM's computer than meets the eye. This much I have found out; but it still wasn't enough. Anyone more lucky?

(Too cryptic for your tastes? Spoiler here: There is plenty of space above MOM. And way at the top, another sign: "MOM? Are you there?")

just fixed the MOM OCD bug... patch will be out in about a week.
