While building my tower in the World of Goo Corporation area, there are clouds of other players that says they have 800+ goo balls...  How is that even possible?  Even if you OCD every level you wouldn't come close to that.  Plus isn't the cap 300 anyways?  Hax?

I've got 800-something extra and I didn't hack anything. Possible reasons: it's counting all of the balls, not just the extras. Or it could just be a run-of-the-mill glitch in the count of goo balls.

When I look at my own stuff, it's capped at 300 (very sad) but sometimes I see two clouds with my name, both with the same number of balls used and approximately the same height, but one says I've got three-hundred total and one say's I've got the amount listed in my profile (845 or so?)

(On a side note, not all the OCD are related to the number of balls.)

Is the three-hundred ball cap intentional? It makes me a bit less ambitious in terms of playing through and getting OCD's and the extra balls.

It's to make it more of a skill challenge, than a completionist challenge. If you're good enough to get all the OCDs, you should do pretty well with an equal number of balls as everyone else..

I've got over 1100 balls, and didn't cheat. Not sure if I actually got all of them, but I assume I did. But even though it shows that in the cloud, they're capped at 300 for building the tower, as you mentioned. That's why you won't see "50 meters, using 1100 of 1100 gooballs" :P

My dreams of a 400 meter+ tower is totally shattered!  :'(

I found out it's pretty easy to trick the game as well, perhaps you may want to add some kind of limit to the goo ball limit (i.e. no number above the gooball count on the level)

As long as you don't abuse it by uploading scores made with your trick, it's fine... Too bad there's probalby gonna be someone who will abuse it though :(

Stupid me, i didn't even consider that my score would be uploaded :(

There seems to be a bug, e.g. I only have 258 extras so far but my cloud says 691.

Btw if possible, the map i cheated on was "Impale Sticky" for some silly like 1000 goo balls, just in case you want to remove it, i already reverted to my backup.

Well, I don't have any powers over the leaderboard. I just spend too much time on this game :P

i have that problem too. my 2 identical names, one has 278 balls, the other 729. i'm just allowed to use those 278 extra balls to build the tower.
too bad for the 300cap limit  :(

i wonder where the moon chaper is, maybe in the sky, so you have to build that damn tall tower?

Do you mean to say you only get 278 balls on the level? Or that you used 278 balls, but can use 300?

i've gathered 278 balls total in "tower of goo memorial park and recreation center".

i can use those 278 balls too, but i won't be so tall and stable as i would expect it.
