Have been holding my breath for this game for some time on Wii. Initially when it hit the 13th and no game appeared in the Aussie WiiWare store I assumed it was due to the time difference between Australia-US. Now I'm becoming a little concerned that we've been lumped in the same boat as Europe ie. no WiiWare version only retail.
If this is the case it is a real shame, bought points in advance specifically for this game and the price hike (from around $20AUD for the 1500points version to what would be around $90 for the retail) is a bit steep.
Any clarification?

I'm a little crabby about this too.. I'm not prepared to spend ninety bucks just to buy it in the shop. For that amount of money, I'll happily just play it on pc.

My suggestion would be to download Steam and buy it for the pc. It costs 20 USD which translated into just under 30 AUD. No need to pay 60 (!!) extra dollars and have to drive out and get it, when you can purchase it for a third of the price on the pc as fast as you can shell out the money.

Also props to 2dboy for not fixing the price and doing what Valve does, simply charging the difference between currencies, as opposed to doing what Activision does and doubling the price to begin with on top of charging the difference between currencies. If I were to buy Cod4 on Steam right now it would cost me $131 AUD (88.50 USD).
