I saw this today, and thought it looked like an excellent essay topic!

What will you DO with your GOO?

It's a nice, easy, fun and Goo-ey contest for 5 copies of the World of Goo from 2D Boy... I know because I made the contest  ;)

So, why should I enter the contest. I already have my copy of WoG.  ;D
No reason for me to stop playing the game and start writing an essay.  :P

But honestly, great idea. If you have contests for other games, I will be glad to join.  ;)

I agree; giving five copies of a game as a prize that you must already own to compete seems somewhat silly. Although it's a great way to get some more publicity (just in case the steam release passed some people by).

Now who would run a contest for free games and aim it at the people who already own the game? Obviously the contest is aimed at people who DON'T have the game and nowhere in the rules does it say you MUST own the game? I don't understand what you are talking about.

Perhaps you need to take some time away from the World of Goo and read the contest rules more closely. It says What WILL you DO with your GOO? and says nothing about needing to own the game.

I'll enter the contest to give the game to some people I know.

And we're spent! The Goo is everywhere! But the winner's list is only here.

Congratulations to the winners and special thanks to 2D Boys for the World of Goo and the contest. We at GDN look forward to working together again.

Cheers
