"We have just been informed that World of Goo will not be available in Europe until Feb/March of 2009. Copies purchased yesterday in Europe will continue to work."
What's going on guys? |
i've asked too, but no response http://2dboy.com/forum/index.php?topic=451.0
i think they because of 1) non-available in europe 2) lack of options and glitches with Vista 3) IMHO high price they finally pushed me to go and download torrent >:( because game is actually great |
Dude, why don't you just buy it off the site? There's no justification for downloading it ILLEGALLY. |
To the second poster; Vista(64bit) so far has worked much, much better than XP ever did. I've gotten less errors, vista is faster, and I've had to run less scans (while catching less, too)
I played wog without a hitch on xp. And shame on you for pirating the game. Shame. |
i would buy it as soon as it will be available on Steam, if only it won't loose interest before (and since feb/mar is far away, it's likely it will). I don't want to take any other options, i explained why in my linked post. In short words: i mostly playing xbox games and i have only few games for PC (only multiplayer and few indy), since i found Steam i figured that i don't need to store any CDs or backups anymore, so that's my only option. I'm just wondering why Eu users are treated in such way, that's not a good deal so it's not shame for me, shame for 2dboy. i'm really frustrated about Vista incompatibility: i don't have x64 since my PC is pretty old, and Goo turns off Aero when running in windowed mode, that means it's written in such incompatible way which i haven't seen since Vista come out. |

You're nuts man. I've just completed it on vista with no problems at all, and I thought it was a bargain. |

*shakes head* |
FYI
The game works fine on Vista 32 and 64 bit os,
in answer to your questions :
1 the game is region free and can be purchased (from the 2d website) and played anywhere in the world.
2 which options ? - no glitches - works just fine.
3 its a fair price for a good all round, fun family game - that all ages can enjoy without restriction.
as for for last comment ... well I guess your just a thief!

buy it from site & add it to steam. any reason you can't do that? It's said state siders can.
but imho you should be banned for admitting to steal. Your reasons don't matter & they ARE stupid (i can't get it on steam, only in non-DRM ways, whah whah!).
if you did that to HL2 valve would ban your account. I see no reason they shouldn't do that for any game that's available on their system that people steal. |
