I don't know if you noticed, but the link to 2D Boys site created by World of Goo installer is called 2D Boy on the Information Superhighway. I'm starting to get worried this will all explode... but I'd really like to see the sky when I'm old! :-[

PS. Who or what would be the World of Goo Corp. in the real world?

Probably... McDonald's.  :o

Wog Corp =themacmeister11/03/2008 - 22:26

Probably Coca-Cola in South America, judging by the current state of affairs...

And what would their Z-product be? :)

To me, WoG corp. seems to represent every major international world-swallowing corporation there's ever been. Coca-cola likenesses come from their goo-based drinks. Z-product is Microsoft-esque. The corp. also represents EA, where the goo balls building to the sky are Ron and Kyle - they felt oppressed working for EA, and wanted to escape and make their own game. The last bit there is based on their interview by Rock, Paper, Shotgun.

Or I could be over analysing it :P
