I was playing the last level of Chapter 1. I noticed that the base square - (the black square that wakes up all green goo balls) - is destructable. I always thought those base building blocks were indestructable. If they get destroyed, one cannot rebuild anymore, as there is no base to build off. So, the question is, should they be non-destructable?
Also, level in Chapter 1 where one has to wake up the sleeping black goo balls, (sleeping on each side of the Totem-like statue). I've noticed that the green balls sometimes get stuck in the ground under the totem, and one ends up having to restart the level to squeeze out all the balls you can.
They get stuck in the ground UNDER the totem, when you try to drag them accross to the other side.
Anybody else see the same things? Last modified Wed, 03/05/2008 - 14:19 by Hellspark |
Both 'oddities' have been noted on the beta mailing list I think, but it's a good thing that people are pointing out bugs on the forums too.
And yes, I have seen the same things. (I also see dead people... But keep it hush hush) |
a similar bug occurs with the tumbler level. if you grab a goo ball and move it really fast, it goes outside the tumbler, where you can connect it to the base structure, and then wait for the base to be pulled up as the tumbler spins. thus you can get all but one or two of the green goo balls into the pipe. |

I actually found this bug out by accident yesterday, and with some good timing managed to get every single goo ball into the pipe! |
The whole thing with connecting goo balls through a solid base has been talked about on the mailing list, and hopefully it will be fixed in the first patch. |
