Can I order the boxed version for Mac anywhere? Amazon says it's boxed version is Mac-compatible, but the reviews say differently.

Can a serial from the PC version be used for the Mac version?

I'm fairly sure all boxed copies are pc/mac hybrid. I'm not fully sure what you mean about a serial from the pc version. I don't know that many computer terms.

according to our publisher, amazon.com should have the PC/Mac hybrid version in the last week of december.  right now all boxed versions (amazon.com, best buy, sam's club, and gamestop) are PC only.
