Save Game Error

Yesterday I built a tower/improved scores, but when I exited the game the changes did not save. When I entered again it was as if I didnt play. I tried it again, and again it did not save. A simple restart to the computer solved it, but I wonder if any1 encountered it too, or how I can prevent that from happening again | ||
