Thanks. What were you doing when you got that?

Re: E R R O R t104/17/2008 - 18:51

Woo, I got one too!  ;)

This happened when I'd just had a couple of attempts at 'Tower of Goo', beat my previous score and the level finished.  I then clicked on 'Ode to the Bridge Builder' and WoG threw the error.

The error report is also wrong, the app was running in full-screen mode at the time.

Hope it helps.

I was playing Tower of Goo level, and it was in non-fullscreen mode, I alt-Enter-ed out. I left the game on the level overnight, and when I tried to finish it up, it gave me that error.

real full screen or was it the size of the screen but in a window?  There's a difference & most of the time you can't tell.

Could be related to that occasional bug I get where the mouse will move between my duel monitors.

Firstly, dual not duel.

Also, note the original post, highlighted for you.

Re: E R R O R The Happy Friar04/18/2008 - 15:46

then odds are you were in a window & the error log is correct.

secondly, I was responding to t1.  that's why i quoted him.

Thanks Friar, but I do know the difference between a maximized window and full-screen mode. ;)
I also only have a single monitor on my home PC at the moment - lack of funds more than anything else!

Didn't mean to hijack your thread Hellspark, sorry.  Does seem as if it's a similar error though.

Re: E R R O R footle10/07/2008 - 17:07

I've had two of those type of error in Chapter One (Vista 32-bit, version released yesterday) and the beginning of Chapter Two.
I've two monitors turned on; with WoGoo running on one of them, and nothing on the other.
Following the crash, all of my activity is lost - user profile etc.

In the ProgramData directory, I've a pers.dat file (presumably from the preview - since it's dated 20/02/08), and a pers2.dat file which presumably isn't since it has this morning's date on it.

Sorry this isn't a particularly helpful bug report - I'll try to capture it next time.
