Clouds and video resolution

I guess this is a common question, maybe someone can give me the right link...
Anyway...

1. I can't see other's people clouds while I'm building my tower;
2. even if I change resolution settings (in the txt file) I get the same "viewable area" (at a higher resolution).

Same thing happening to my clouds, must be a server thing.

The clouds have disappeared for me as well.

UPDATE: Never mind, I guess it's just really slow to connect. :P

I couldn't see the clouds for ages either. It took about 20 minutes for them to appear.
