Connecting through a proxySteve0101/06/2009 - 15:30

Hi,
I bought WOG recently through steam, unfortunately i cannot connect online to upload things.  I am behind a proxy which i presume is the issue.  Ive searched the forums and cant find anything that has worked for me, anybody have any ideas, or if not does anybody know if this is going to be sorted out at some point?
(No other games have issues connecting, some just need pointing in the right direction :D and everything is configured correctly that i am aware of- if that helps)

its no real issue to me, it would just be nice to be able to upload my scores etc thats all  :)

Thanks!

Hi Steve!

I previously described how to define proxy settings to be used by World of Goo in this topic: help, i'm behind proxy

Does that work for you?

Hi,

I have tried doing that, but it doesn't connect still (even after restart).  The proxy I connect through is: -- and I know the port, but putting the two together doesn't seem to work, I presume that's what it is I do? Different combinations don't seem to work either e.g. dropping the http:// from it or using all_proxy instead of https_proxy.

Is that correct?

Thanks!

Are you sure that your proxy supports HTTPS connections?

That's about the only thing that I can think of what might explain why it doesn't work; other than that I'm out of ideas I'm afraid.
