First off, I downloaded the game from steam, which in hindsight was a terrible idea because every game I have downloaded from steam so far has been buggy and given me hell, with no help from them on resolving issues. Now I am having an issue with WoG and I am hoping it is something you will be able to help me with.
The game loads and runs just fine until i click to go to the World of Goo Corporation and build my tower. It worked the first two to three times I tried, but the last few times it will display the loading screen and jsut hang there. I've waited a considerable time in case its a connecting to server issue, but to no avail. In the end I have to alt tab out and force quit the application. Is there something I can do to fix this? Is it any sort of known problem?
Thanks. |
Additional Note:
There is an error code on screen after I force quit WoG. It reads

/bump. I don't know if this is a steam problem or not. Steam seems pretty crap so far, of the three games I've downloaded, three games crash with critical errors of some sort. Do the math. |
