Hi! I used to play world of goo under wine and now that I have the native port installed, i'd like to transfer my profile from my "windows" to linux. Question is, i have no idea where the profiles are installed on either installation (I guess in linux it's under ~/worldofgoo ?)

Any assistance would be appriciated!

(also if someone knows how to always make WoG start in windowed mode, i'm all ears)

Profile storage in different versions: http://hell.student.utwente.nl/wog/ (Top left column)

Change Fullscreen value to False in config.txt

The first issue is covered in the linux-issues.txt file that's in the tar.gz version of the game.

thanks, that did the trick. though there is no config.txt in my worldofgoo folder on linux...

hmm.. i can't seem to find the 2DBoy folder in %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\ on my vista machine at all

Ah... Yes... :-[
You need to copy config.txt from the properties folder in the actual programs folder to the .WorldOfGoo folder: /opt/WorldOfGoo/properties/config.txt
