Tower of Goo - corrupted graphics

I tried playing Tower of Goo/unlimited, but both have this strange graphics. I have a geforce5200 on an Athlon in Windows XP.
If I put "use 256 colors" the graphics are the correct ones, but is slow as hell.

Any ideas?

The old Tower of Goo prototype requires opengl - make sure you install the correct opengl drivers for your video card. Windows ships with very poor opengl support.

Can I solve it with nHancer or copying some DLLs into the game folder?
