Also, the very first level i managed to complete in 3 moves, and now in the 'world map' there is a white flag waving above it. This is in the first chapter.

The white flag means that you have an "OCD" level.

If you click on the "Menu" button on the lower right, you'll get a list of options. One is "OCD", which tells you the completion challenge of that level.

Most are basically use as few balls as possible.
Some are finish as fast as possible (least time or least moves).

Some OCD's are easy; some are tricky.

At least some rely on the pipe vacuum itself (although that wasn't clear until I saw a video of people doing it). Yes, I'm being deliberately vague.
