Red Carpet Glitch

Okay, so I tried playing Red Carpet just for fun today, and I ran into a weird glitch.
I started out building some Ivy Goo into a bouncy platform. I then chucked an Albino Goo over the Extend-o-Matic.
Apparently I had a weird angle when trying to knock the carpet down, but my Albino went straight through the carpet and burst on the spikes. The force was enough to topple the carpet, but once the Beauty Head landed on the now-horizontal carpet, it went through and burst. All the Beauty Goos got killed by the spikes so it was no stroke of luck.
All I want to know is whether this has happened to anyone else before.

It's a fun level, but one of the glitchiest. :)
