Can't open after download

I just downloaded Goo to a Mac OSX 10.3.9 and I can't open the darn thing!!!!  What am I doing wrong?  I am not the most computer savy person but I do love to play computer and video games.  Help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Right version?
Patch?
System up to date?
Right icon?
Right location?
If all of these are YES, then I don't know what's wrong.

You did download the .dmg file, right?

In that case, you should be able to install it by copying the game to the Applications folder. Have a look here if you need help with that.
