How to install the full version of World Of Goo?

I am pretty new to Linux and I think I have the wrong version of GOO as I got the ' WorldOfGoo.tar.bz2'.

Can someone PLEASE help me with instruction on how to install this in Ubuntu?

Hi Garry,

For Ubuntu, the easiest way to install World of Goo is to download the .deb package instead. You can save it to the desktop and then (double?) click the package file to install it.

Then, you should be able to launch the game through to the application menu (although you may have to re-login before it appears).
