Windows Vista non-administrator crash

The game will not load unless the user launching the game is an administrator or runs the game as administrator. No crash.txt file is created when this happens. No error is presented, just the vanilla "WorldofGoo.exe has stopped working. Please wait while Windows searches for a solution" box after which it does gracefully fail.

A bit more information, please. It may just mean you need to play as an admin, though.

Do you have the latest patch installed? try that if you don't ;)

I've got version 1.3 of WoG

I'm running Windows Vista Ultimate edition, 32bit.
It's a laptop with the NVIDIA Geforce 8400M GS chipset.

Not sure what other bits of info would be relevant.

Goo's been having problems with Vista. I'd advise just running it as an admin.
