setup file won't open on Windows XP

I have paid and downloaded the setup file for Windows XP twice.  Neither of them would open.  The first time I got a long error message (which I did not save) and the second time it just flashes a command screen for a second then quits.  The file I've downloaded is WorldOfGooSetup_1.1.30.exe  (

help?

One more try and I get the error message that it can't open or write a temporary initialization file to \LOCALS~1\Temp, which I assume is this directory:

C:\Documents and Settings\user\Local Settings\Temp

Yes, there is space. 

Yet another try, and I get this error message:

"The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction. 
CS:0dc2 IP:0158 OP:ff ff 58 01 c2 Chose 'close' to terminate the application."

Try downloading the setup file again, using a download manager. You probably had corrupted versions of the installer.

I am using a download manager, and I have downloaded it at least half a dozen times.

I want to know the size and MD5 checksum of the World of Goo setup file.
