OK My computer didn't explode!

The game runs fine at higher resolutions but has issues with the placement of, for example, text on the main screen, the flush handle and size of the ummm cistern? Anyway.. my question is.. Is there any current way round this or do you guys intend to let people change the resolution with a future patch/release?

I believe you are told by a knowledgeable source that you are NOT to change the resolution. Bad bad things will happen. Maybe in the future though.

Hmmm.. well.. yes...Someone did say something.. However it seemed more like encouragement at the time  ;)

It would be really nice to be able to play at a custom resolution. 800x600 just looks too blurry on LCD monitors (not to mention the aspect ratio being off on a widescreen).

I tried playing with the UI inset variable but I cant make the flush clickable in 1680x1050 - UI inset just moves the text further from the edge and does not alter the cistern size of flush position.

Despite these gripes, I would like to say that the game is quite wonderful - thanks very much for making it this fine!

I play at 1280 for 800.

Agreed, 1280x800 is the best resolution to play at, especially since it's standard on most tablet pcs.

in the cofig.txt file you should put that the sign painter wrote that message......

I don't want to edit anything there (don't want a hole in my house ;)). The High Resolution Sign Painter said something!

Edit: Patch 1.3 is available! Now you can change the resolution without any problems. I now play at 1440*900 and the flush is where it was at 800*600, and the "cistern" size is normal. Congratulations 2D Boy, World of Goo has now got 100% in Croatia's computer magazine Bug.
