WoG freezes on quit (Linux)IBBoard01/01/2010 - 16:20

In an attempt to diagnose my freezing Xorg, I swapped out my Radeon X1950 for an nVidia 7900. It won't be as good for playing Oblivion in Windows, but it'll do fine for WoG and nVidia still support it with driver releases!

The swap seemed to work and I played WoG for about 30-40 minutes without a problem, then I tried to quit. When I hit the Quit button on the main menu the cursor and the game just froze. The tail of the log looks reasonable enough:

The only way to close the window was to "kill -9" the process (it didn't respond to a standard "kill". It isn't a major issue, since the machine is at least stable for gaming, but it'd be good if I didn't end up with a frozen game when I try to quit :)
