I got my preorder bonus full game download link today! YAY!

Between the time I preordered and now, my PC has exploded so I can't play. BOO!

Is there anyway to swap my PC version for the Mac version? Pretty please?

You will get all versions as soon as they are ready.
There will be Windows, Mac and GNU/Linux.

At the moment you could use Wine to play WOG.

It works on my machine with CrossOver and WindowsXP bottle.

Would that be Darwine for Mac OSX on an intel-based Mac? I tried parallels desktop v3 last night and it runs WOG but with all sorts of graphical errors that make it unplayable.

It doesn't work with Paralels for Mac.

Search for Wine or Codeweaver CrossOver for Mac.
The second uses the first but is commercial because of its GUI and software support.

This way it works on Mac OS X with Intel. Don't know about PPC.

I cant seem to make it work with wine on an intel MacBook.

Wine is installed and working - I can install WorldofGoo without issue on the Mac using wine. Running it gives the following error pretty quickly:

irrKlang 3D Sound Engine version 1.1.0
fixme:wave:wodDsCreate DirectSound not implemented
fixme:wave:wodDsCreate The (slower) DirectSound HEL mode will be used instead.
Using DirectSound8 driver
fixme:system:SetProcessDPIAware stub!

Anyone any idea where to start looking for a solution?

I have also tested it on my Linux box (Ubuntu 8.04 with nvidia card) and it works fine with wine on that.

I think it's time to  update drivers and such. I'm not familiar with wine though
