See below

I get the following error while trying to launch WoG.
UAC is turned off so it had admin rights, video driver, vc++ redistributable and directx is up to date.
I have also tried compatibility modes with no luck.
I checked and edited the settings.txt to fit my resolution and edited permisions for 'everyone' to have full control.

Manually moving the 1.3 patch files into the steam\steamapps\common\world of goo\ folder fixed the problem.
Isn't this patch on steam? 'verify integrity of game cache' will revert it back to a non working state.

Same problem for me. Why is the patch not included in Steam? This is the main reason for me to use steam: no searching for updates...
