Hello,

This was with the old version, I will download the new version in a few seconds (I had the profile loss thingy too)


I was (re)playing one of the levels in the first chapter, and when I pressed retry, the program suddenly shut down. No error message, nothing. Just the program was being shut down. I do not believe this can be a problem of my computer, I have never had this before.

I am running winXP here.

Maybe its fixed in the new version, otherwise please see if you can find something.  :-X

Another problem, but I dont want to make a new thread:
While starting a level in chapter 3 (new version of game this time), the program did not respond any more, and I had to shut down manually.
Sadly, I could not take a screenshot of the error message, except for a bit of "proof" that there was one (the thing with the cavestory background is an alt+tab mod and shows the error, but its too small to read.)



Luckily my saves were not discarded this time.

No clue about the relation or if it was just a complete coincidence, but I installed World of Goo last night and experienced the Retry/shutdown bug as well. After that though I noticed my computer was messing up a few other things as well, and then eventually started getting BSoD'd left and right.

Long story short, it ended up being a problem with my RAM.
