world of goo wont open on windows 7 and same with windows vista

I got world of goo when my computer have windows vista on it and after a wile the program would not open.
soon my dad switched to windows 7 and i had to re download world of goo and when i installed it it opened up right away. it worked fine but when i closed it and later tried to open it would not open and anyone help?!   :'(

When I try to open it the top left forth of my screen goes black and the rest shows my desktop. then a box pops up and says:
              "world of goo.exe has stopped working"    >:( then it shows a button that says "close program" ???
