Cant activate steam release with pre-order key

As the topic says it does not seem to be working on steam. I go to the Games menu, select Activate a product on steam, then paste in the key from the pre-order mail into the box. It says that its an invalid key. I dont think it matters but the key in the mail from 2dboy uses lower case letters and numbers and pasting into steam converts them all to upper case. Its possible its just not working yet because the steam version is only just available.

The valve guys say they will be able to transfer keys within a week. I'll post about it when we know more.

Thanks for the info - its great you guys still find time to respond in the midst of release. As well as looking at the game for quality comparisons other companies should check out the dedication as well.

As I think I am not the only one who lost his Pre-Order key, I wanted to ask how to obtain it again (if it is possible) ... I really would like to have the Steam Achievements for WoG.
