my reso is normaly 1280 x 1024 .... but when i go to play my screen says out of range and its all fuzzy and i see like 4 screens and its just horrible

Can you give any more details? Did you edit the config file? And what do you mean by normally?

I have the same problem. My monitor cannot display the video signal produced by the game so I get a black screen and an 'out of range' error message from the monitor until I ctrl-alt-del.

I have tried changing the config file resolution to several resolutions including my monitor's native resolution but it has not helped.

I play a lot of PC games and do not have this problem with any other games, although I once had it with the game STALKER but reverting to default video settings fixed this (I then couldn't recreate the problem).

My monitor is an LCD with 1440x900 and a vertical refresh rate of 60hz. I suspect an option to force the game into 60fps, or something like that, would do the trick.

Try changing your resolution to 1280*960. It'll be better altought not the best but it'll be playable.

we'll have a patch out in the next week that addresses both the resolution issues and the black screen issue.  if you're having this problem and want to help us test the fix, send us an email from our contact page, i'll send you an exe that includes the fix (this will only work for people who purchased through our website, won't work for steam users, though they'll get the patch too)

same problem here, I was trying out the demo but I only saw a black screen with a message out of range.

a quick fix, just alt-tab to windows and then alt-tab back! it worked for me.

The new build is ready. Just re-download and install over top of your existing game.
