Hello,

I'm french and have discovered this game last week. I've loved it and already finished it on my laptop (on vista). I decided to intall it on my other computer (also on vista) but did not manage to transfer my savegame files.

I've made what you told about the file but it doesn't do anything.
Do you have any idea where the problem comes from ?

Hi,

I'm french too, and I have the same problem :
I uninstalled the game by mistake but I had a copy of pers2.dat
When I reinstalled the game (v1.20), and copied the file in "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\2DBoy\WorldOfGoo", it was not recognized : I can see only "new" in profiles, and not my old profile.  :-\

Ok, I've got it :

In v1.20, pers2.dat has to be copied in %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\2DBoy\WorldOfGoo

FAQ is not up to date...
