I'm testing the Mac version. Played the first three levels then went to WoGC. Attached one ball fine. Attached second ball and the application exited. Possibly related to launching WoGC with online enabled. Subsequent attempts to enter WoGC are just fine.

I'm not going to be playing WoGC on Mac beyond testing GooTool (which I haven't started yet, so these crashes aren't related), I just thought they should be reported.

Hey I bought WORLD OF GOO last week (im a Mac User) and its been working properly since today, I have the same problem as you do. The difference is: I cannot even enter the game anymore!

When I open the app, the screen turns black as usual BUT before I can see the 2D BOYS logo, everything closes and Im back on my Finder with an error message (see below)

Im on iMac last generation. I tried to reset, delete/reinstall the game, didnt change anything.
That sucks because I'm addict and I had only 2 levels left to complete the game!...

Any idea to fix this bug?

the crashes related to wogc are most likely related to being online as davidc suggested. we've heard of this happening to a couple other people too but so far i haven't had much luck trying to figure out what's going on. let me know if this continues to happen and if there are any specific steps that you can take to force the crash to happen reliably.

fredypoup, i'm not sure what's causing your game to crash on launch but i may be able to diagnose the problem if you send me your save file. the save file is located under your user directory under Library/Application Support/WorldOfGoo. the save file is called pers2.dat. if you could email that file to allan at 2dboy dot com i'll take a look at it. in the mean time, you should at least be able to get the game to run again if you delete, rename or move your save file. i know you probably don't want to lose all your progress, so maybe just move it onto your desktop for safe keeping for now and then maybe later we can figure out a way to get you up and running again. hopefully that will at least let you run the game again.

Thanks Allan your reply, I lost my save profile but at least I'm able to run the game properly again. I just sent you the file in your inbox and I'm keeping the pers2.dat as a backup, so if you discover a fix I'll keep playing with this game.
