It might work to rename the /res/music folder so the game cannot find the music (however, it might crash because of that)

Well the musics in ogg format, you could always replace the files with blank (long playtime) ones. Or just turn them down in an audio modifying program. Im doing it right now. THere FUCKING LOUD. Like it drowns out every other program i have that uses sound.

Wish the programmers took the time to add in audio volume option, might actually bring it up to "game" standard

the game music is quite relaxing. score 1 for coders putting decent music into a game. score zero for whiny complainers.

but yes volume controls would be a nice extra.

I agree.... being able to adjust the volume in game would be nice.

I DO love the music, but I would love to have control of it's balance vs. other game sounds.

It would just make for a more enjoyable experience for me.

Agreed!  Why is this (and non-fullscreen mode) not basic, obvious features?

You can hit Alt-Enter to switch between fullscreen and windowed mode (on Windows and Linux).
On Linux, you can mute the game with Alt-M (or changing the config file).
