Music stops playing. Why??

It's strange; the music will play in the opening screens, but not always on some of the actual gameplay screens.
On the red carpet puzzle and several before, I didn't even know there was supposed to be music until I played through the game a 2nd time.  Then the music worked.
Now, it's not working again.
???
Can anybody help??
