A 'snap save' button on the corp. tower,. . not start all over.jph10/09/2008 - 21:43

When building the finnal big tower,. I would like to be able to save at any point,. like before adding a new part to the structure,. as it just takes too long to get a good foundation going, only to have it all come tumbleing down when one weak point is overlooked below,. . My preferance would be the Right Mouse Button to save, and have a sub-reset  button down near the reset one,. . otherwise I will get tired of rebuilding very soon,. .  :'(  besides that  the big tower is a very fun meta-game that prevokes finnishing the main game!  Cheers eh,. .

why not just use the collapsed tower AS the new base?

I'm against the proposed change, btw. I like it the way it is atm.

Edit: Here's a tip: If you see the top of your tower tipping over; quickly disconnect the top from the base. That way you only have to rebuild the top. I quite often build 1 base, then try 10 different tops.

am I the only one who has a nice organized topple where the entire structure flips on it's side?  :D

There is a definite advantage to building a tower without all the goo balls moving around it, and thats only really possible after a collapse.

I also dont want a save button though - stability is part of it.

Then, either your base isn't wide enough, or you're not decreasing your width fast enough. You want a stable base, then when you're high up start building quite thin and hope for the best. That way you can cut off the top and you won't have to rebuild the base.

But then I always run into the problem that getting them back on the structure takes too much effort/time...

I dunno, I kinda like the thought of this feature.  Save your high score, start over and try a new formation and if it didn't work you can reload your save without losing a place on the leader boards.
