I don't know if it does or not but I think it would be sweet if the files could transfer to full game either in steam or whatever or is it possible to do this already?

Worked fine for me too? Well.. a bit of a caveat.. I can only attest to the savegame file not being removed after an uninstallation on linux using wine.
