I'd absolutely love to have wog on my pandora. 600MHz, 800x400 display, full keyboard, touchscreen, 10h on battery and not larger than a nintendo DS.

The advantage over other portable gaming devices:

Pandora runs linux on an arm cpu and is completely free of license costs. Could be a piece of cake to port it.

Disadvantage:

Only 4000 will be manufactured this year...

I'd also love to see this on the Pandora!

I'm certain a large proportion of the initial 4000 customers would be willing to buy this game!

I'm also willing to bet, it won't run on a Pandora! :D

The Pandora will be the most powerful gaming handheld available once released, it is expected to run Quake 3 at 60fps+ . . .

Lowering texture quality and resolution should make it completely feasible.

The Pandora is perfect for the game! I hope the developers at least consider porting it  :'(

It would be interesting to see this on the Pandora. I'd guess a modified version of the Linux version would be technically feasible. Touchscreen support would be awesome.

Add me to the list of people who would buy if ported to Pandora.  I already bought the Wii version, best $15 I ever spent.

For those reading and unfamiliar with Pandora, check it out at openpandora.org

It's a completely open-source hand-held computer with gaming controls.

There will only be 4000 made this year, all pre-orders are sold out.  More will be released next year in most likely larger batches.  I can see this hand-held being very successful.

The Pandora is, as far as I can tell, just as powerful as the wii.  Correct me if I'm wrong.

Another cry for a Pandora port from me - in fact, I only found out about this game via the Pandora forums where chatter about a possible port of "World Of Goo" prompted me to come and download the demo version... and of course both my 7 year old son and I were immediately hooked. So now I've had to buy the full game. It'd be GREAT to see it on the Pandora, making use of the touchscreen... and if WOG 1.3 doesn't already support multi-user co-op on the PC/Linux, I'd love to see that - my son really LOVES playing games WITH me or his mother.

I am buying the Linux version and I will also definitely buy a Pandora version.

(I also heard about wog from the Pandora forums).
