Probably other people have discovered this, but I didn't find it as I glanced through the forum.

On levels with re-tachable goo, after building to the pipe you can rip away part of your structure leaving just a thin strand still being sucked into the pipe. Breaking this strand can leave you with a single link, just two pieces of goo, hanging from the still-sucking pipe. From here it is simple to dismantle the rest of the structure and drop each goo one by one onto this link. When only the link remains, pulling away the bottom goo rescues the top one - so if you can finish the level at all, you do it with the highest score possible.

This makes it hard to 'tighten up' levels, makes it easy for players to rescue heaps of goo.

Easyish fix: the force of pipe suckage should never exceed the lesser of these two options: the current pipe suckage force, which we're all used to, or the weight of the entire structure being sucked on by the pipe. So small structures won't be able to hover since the pipe will weaken for them.

I knew that you could do this, but I never really thought to submit it as a bug.  I agree, though, the suction should never be able to create hovering goos.  Leave hovering goos to my amazing new goo idea that I just came up with: hover goos!  They aren't affected by gravity!

i thought that was a feature.

you'd be surprise what a pipe can hold.  I've had it hold at least a strong of 4 goos at once.  Pretty cool.  :)

maybe abandoned goos of levels can go to the goo orphanage?

or perhaps abandoned goos are subtracted from your goo corp number?

It can be part of our federal "no goo left behind" program. ;D

By "abandoned"...do you mean any and all goo left behind when you pull the...victory lever, or just free-roaming gooballs?

Subtracting the abandoned goos from your total goo count in WoGCo is a great way of reducing the amount of goos people can get.  Plus, the No Goo Left Behind is absolutely hilarious.

Good question... Let's see:

Because some levels require you to leave some behind like the black goo chains that you can't break.
Maybe these can be the ones that go to the goo orphange because you can't save them after they are used.

Perhaps sleeping goos that aren't awaken when the level is finished, or the detchable goos that are able to be directed to the pipe but aren't can be subtracted from your "extra" goo number.  Oh, and lets not forget the goos that perish on the spinning blades of death or the bottomless abyss levels where they fall.

As wonderful this games is destined to become, I am anxious to know how our fellow programmers are progressing and how close we are to a release date.

This is an actual feature FYI, otherwise they wouldnt put OCDs that require you to do that.

Way to revive a 6 moth old thread, talking about the status quo in the beta 1 when OCD criteria didn't existent yet, and neither was the level Leap Hole.
