I also had a goo idea... i know the team have it own way, but i think Nano goos can be a great idea.

Remember the Grey Goo Theory. This theory is about nanobots, and it's a real theory. It's about the nanobots and the ambiental effects.

What are the eyes from ? Owls ?

I was playing World of Goo with my sister and she became inspired to make a goo ball. I helped her out and we made these.

2 Common Goo, 2 Bone Goo, a Fuse Goo, a Pokey Goo, and 2 Water Goo. The Water Goo were made from dried puddles of hot glue. The one on the right turned out a bit distorted because we tried pouring the glue over the googly eyes so they would be inside it. The hot glue melted the eyes a bit, so they're a tad distorted, and they don't "google." Haha, enjoy.

Yes all 2 are owl eyes. I was near to use cat eyes ore some reptile, but i remember the owls and their eyes, much more goo. xD

I'm working with water goo, but is soo dificult cause i want to made it transparent like crystal water, and it makes me trouble... so... i'll finish it someday =P


And about this textile goos.. I'll love them, can i make some ones? (i think is a good present for my wife  :D)

I like your goos. And something like a glass ball might help for your water goo. As for making textile goos, go for it. It's great what you can do with some felt, hot glue, and googly eyes.

The biggest problem of water goo is to work with plain images (without alpha at first stance) things that must be transparent...
I can make the transparency, but is dificult to emulate the light distortion of the water (or transp. materials)when I add things on the initial crystal ball or water drop.

I think the best way is to make it in 3d... or making a photo at one water goo ;D ;D
